Memang kita mengetahui bahwa sebuah karya foto adalah hasil akhir dari sebuah proses yang terjadi seketika (sepersekian detik) & karya foto juga hasil akhir yang terjadi dari alat yang bernama kamera dan selanjutnya proses yang terakhir untuk mewujudkan karya tersebut adalah proses kimiawi (kamar gelap atau lab cetak warna).
Selanjutnya karya foto adalah karya cipta yang berasal dari rekaman keadaan yang secara realistis ada (subyek) atau kasat mata, karya foto tidak seperti karya lukis dimana si pencipta dapat menciptakan atau melakukan transformasi dari apa yang dilihatnya atau dirasakannya, karya foto adalah rekaman keadaan apa yang ada (realistis dan kasat mata) , hal ini serupa yang juga dikatakan seniman Adi Wicaksono dalam papernya “Realitas dalam makna fotografi” mengatakan bahwa foto adalah representasi ulang dunia obyek atau kenyataan, menampilkan, mempersembahkan utuh kenyataan. Tapi bukan itu yang menjadikan karya foto adalah seni !.

Untuk menjawab dari manakah sebuah karya dikatakan seni dan untuk menjawab bahwa foto adalah seni adalah dengan kita mengetahui dahulu definisi dari seni itu sendiri yang tertulis melalui banyak tulisan, seperti :

YOGYAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — Kegiatan sepeda wisata akan menjadi paket wisata wajib bagi para pengelola desa wisata di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. “Minat masyarakat Yogyakarta untuk bersepeda di alam pedesaan di daerah ini dalam beberapa tahun terakhir terus meningkat. Seiring meningkatnya kebutuhan olahraga dengan sepeda, beberapa komunitas sepeda di Yogyakarta makin banyak bermunculan,” kata Kepala Dinas Pariwisata DIY Tazbir di Yogyakarta, Senin (7/6/2010).

Menurut Tazbir, setiap Minggu atau libur akhir pekan di beberapa ruas jalan khususnya di kawasan desa wisata kini mulai ramai oleh mereka yang hobi bersepeda.

Bagaimanapun, olahraga sepeda di alam pedesaan khususnya di desa wisata memiliki banyak keuntungan. Selain mendorong perilaku hidup sehat dan bersih, bersepeda di desa wisata akan mendapatkan pengalaman yang berharga.

“Lingkungan udara yang bersih dan keanekaragaman wisata budaya yang dimiliki desa wisata akan menjadi pengalaman batin bagi wisatawan bersepeda ini,” kata Tazbir.

Ia mengatakan, kegiatan ’Ayo Bersepeda di Desa Wisata’ yang digelar Dinas Pariwisata DIY, Minggu (6/6/2010), ternyata menarik minat masyarakat pegiat bersepeda. Mereka tampak antusias menikmati alam pedesaan di desa wisata Srowolan, Banyusumilir, Pakem, Kabupaten Sleman.

“Bersepeda di desa wisata akan kami selenggarakan lagi dengan peserta yang lebih besar. Target kami adalah sepeda wisata akan menjadi paket wisata wajib bagi para pengelola desa wisata di DIY sehingga wisatawan menjadi kerasan tinggal di desa,” katanya.

Tazbir melanjutkan, kegiatan bersepeda tetap relevan menjadi paket wisata. Selain lokasi mendukung, karakteristik desa yang unik dan langka akan menjadi pemandangan menarik bagi para wisatawan yang menjadi peserta kegiatan sepeda wisata.

“Sampai kini di wilayah DIY terdapat 65 desa wisata dan Kabupaten Sleman memiliki jumlah paling banyak. Daya tarik yang ditawarkan desa wisata cukup memikat para wisatawan. Keadaan alam yang hijau, suasana pedesaan yang unik, suguhan atraksi yang beragam menjadi keunggulan banyak desa wisata di daerah ini,” katanya.
